The Porter is responsible for the overall basic general cleaning of the common garage area while providing exceptional hospitality services in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner to all guests during their entire stay. The Porter also aids with general upkeep of garage equipment, waste receptacles and assists with any parking‑area customer issue, including lock‑outs, flat tires, battery jump and lost vehicle assistance.
The role requires frequent sitting or standing for extended periods, running or walking, handling objects and tools, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Visual demands include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may lift up to 100pounds occasionally, 50pounds frequently or 20pounds constantly. Work is largely outdoors for extended periods, with exposure to extreme heat and cold; protection from weather may be provided but not guaranteed. Travel of up to 5% may be required.
