Job summary

PopStroke Entertainment Group in Austin, Texas is seeking a Porter to maintain the grounds and facilities, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for guests.

You will inspect facilities, perform landscaping and cleaning tasks, monitor supplies, and assist with emergency tasks as needed. This role requires weekend availability and a hands-on, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience working with cleaning products and chemicals.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
• Perform landscaping duties.
• Maintain all areas in a safe and clean condition by sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
• Monitor and replenish supplies.
• Clean Bathrooms
• Report any maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
• Complete maintenance checklists.
• Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
• Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for guests and employees.
• Assist with special tasks and projects.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Porter, you'll be the wizard of the grounds, turning them into a masterpiece of play-ready perfection. From making the facilities look fresher than a morning breeze and fabulously safe, to adding a touch of sparkle to every nook and cranny.

Pay rate: $16-$18 per hour

Role type: non-exempt
