Job summary

PopStroke Entertainment Group is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and improve the grounds, ensure safety, and support guests through hands-on tasks. The role covers indoor and outdoor work, inspections, repairs, and landscaping to keep venues guest-ready.

Pay rate ranges from $18 to $24 per hour for a non-exempt position. Weekend and holiday availability is required as part of operations and event schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and landscaping.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques and landscaping principles.
• Experience operating equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to work with cleaning products and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Perform landscaping duties.
• Monitor and maintain the misting system.
• Maintain all areas in a safe and clean condition by sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
• Monitor and replenish supplies.
• Report maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor.
• Complete maintenance checklists.
• Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
• Remove trash and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for guests and employees.
• Assist with special tasks and projects.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

As a Facilities Technician, you'll be the wizard of the grounds, turning them into a masterpiece of play‑ready perfection. From making the facilities look fresher than a morning breeze and fabulously safe, to adding a touch of sparkle to every nook and cranny.

Essential Job Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Perform landscaping duties.
• Monitor and maintain the misting system.
• Maintain all areas in a safe and clean condition by sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
• Monitor and replenish supplies.
• Report any maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
• Complete maintenance checklists.
• Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
• Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for guests and employees.
• Assist with special tasks and projects.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance and landscaping.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques, as well as landscaping principles and practices.
• Experience operating equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Experience working with cleaning products and chemicals.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to operate equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work with cleaning products and chemicals safely and effectively.
