Job summary

Royal American Management is seeking a reliable Porter to maintain the grounds of a Florida community. Under supervision, you will water plants, perform basic landscaping, paint exteriors, clean, and assist with emergency maintenance as needed.

The role requires OSHA awareness, good attendance, and the ability to follow written work orders. A HS diploma is preferred and a valid ID may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred.
• Prior maintenance or groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Strong communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Able to read and follow handwritten work orders and safety notes.
• Willingness to perform manual labor and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds and landscaping daily.
• Water plants, lawns, and garden areas; assist with irrigation tasks.
• Clean exteriors, paint when needed, and replace light bulbs if required.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and after-hours standby as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.

*Bilingual preferred.Job Summary:Under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Porter is responsible for maintaining the community grounds of the assigned property in an attractive condition. The Porter will be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) Standards and company safety policies at all times.Incumbent is expected to have excellent attendance and communication skills, possess the ability to build lasting business relationships, and exhibit professionalism.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:This is a description of the major responsibilities of this position.
