Job description

The Porter / Groundskeeper will be responsible for the exterior and common area upkeep.

Essential Functions:

• Report to the Community Manager each morning to communicatethedaily needs of the property and receive daily assignments.
• Routinely walks the property and reports any observed problems on the property or in common areas.
• Maintains the buildings and breezeways to be free from trash and cobwebs. Cleaning of all common areas, model units, amenities and maintaining of compactor area to be free from debris.
  
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the interior of the buildings looking clean and professional.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks based on a schedule created by the Community Manager, if applicable.
  
• Assisting when needed in preparing market-ready units,
• Properly performs casual labor, such as lifting/moving heavy items and following appropriate safety procedures.
  
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
  
• Performsother duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  
• Be able to communicate well and often through email, phone, and our online platform.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general groundskeeping or custodial work.
  
• Must be able to operate tools and equipment related to facility maintenance.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers liscense, and insurance.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs. occasionally to complete assigned job tasks.
  

Workweek Schedule: Mondays - Fridays from 8:30am-4:30 pm
