Responsibilities

The Job At-A-Glance: As a Porter at Campus Life & Style, you will maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for residents, visitors, and team members. Your attention to detail will contribute to community satisfaction.

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and entryways (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting)
• Power wash sidewalks, courtyards, and parking areas
• Empty trash and ensure proper waste disposal
• Sanitize public spaces and amenities
• Assist with event setup and cleanup
• Report maintenance issues
• Keep outdoor areas tidy and maintain landscape appearance
• Perform minor repairs and assist with package delivery
• Collaborate with maintenance team
• Interact positively with residents and visitors
• Follow safety protocols and handle cleaning materials properly
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in team building and representation

Qualifications

We are seeking individuals who:

• Are bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Are proficient in Microsoft Outlook
• Have prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred
• Are detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Are physically capable of lifting and moving heavy objects
• Are available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Understand rotating weekend schedules for trash pickup and chute clearing
• Are committed to maintaining a neat and organized work environment
