Job description

This position is for 3rd shift; Sunday night-Friday morning 11:00pm-7:30am.

The Porter is a vital member of the team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility. The primary role of the Porter is to ensure that the work environment is safe and clean for all employees.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
2. Cleaning warehouse, offices, hallways, lobby, break room, restrooms, corridors, and other work areas
3. Empties trash containers and transports waste to disposal area
4. Replenishes bathroom and break room supplies
5. Keeps walkways clean
6. May perform light maintenance, operate shredder and baler
7. Maintains a clean and orderly work area

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment

SKILLS

• Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.60-$23.18. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
