Job description

Our Groundskeepers are essential team members who maintain the overall curb appeal of our apartment communities. They have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking a Porter to join our team at a property in Fort Worth, TX.

The Groundskeeper/Porter is responsible for general maintenance, groundskeeping, housekeeping, and responding to customer service requests to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services according to schedule and policies.
  2. Inform the manager of supply needs; keep the storage area organized and secure.
  3. Refurbish and renovate apartments as needed.
  4. Conduct daily walks of the property to assess curb appeal, condition, deferred maintenance, and safety issues, meeting inspection standards and the "I would live here" test.
  5. Notify the manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
  6. Receive training for additional certifications such as lead, asbestos, HVAC, and CFC handling as required.
  7. Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of the swimming pool.
