Job summary

PureStar in Ardmore, OK is seeking a Porter to perform cleaning and maintenance at a commercial laundry facility. You will be responsible for cleaning floors, restrooms, hallways, and keeping the facility neat and orderly.

This role requires physical stamina to stand for long periods, the ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely, and a flexible schedule to meet facility needs.

Position: Porter

Job description: This position is responsible for maintenance and cleaning duty at a commercial laundry facility.

Must be able to work the following schedule but also be flexible to work other times and or day (depending on needs)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, hallways, etc
• Emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces
• Perform cleaning duties adhering to approved department cleaning procedures
• Assist in cleaning rooms
• Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
• Sweep, and clean restrooms
• Mopping, dusting, washing floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles
• Mopping, scrubbing floors, and vacuuming.
• Removing trash and sanitizing trash containers
• Dusting and vacuuming
• Maintain yard equipment and cleaning supplies
• Maintain company premises in a clean and orderly way by picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Perform light dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, and dishware cleaning

Commercial Cleaning Experience Preferred

Physical / Mental Requirements:

• May be at an industrial setting with hot/cold environment and distracting noise levels.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
