Bronx House is looking for a full time Porter/Driver.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain cleanliness of facilities.
2. Conduct minor repairs as directed.
3. Fulfilling special projects including but not limited: light carpentry, opening and closing facility, setting up rooms for special events (moving chairs and tables).
4. Drive Senior and Afterschool Members to and from destinations.
5. Other duties as assigned.
6. Able to work earlier or later hours to provide necessary coverage as needed. Able to provide weekday and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

1. High School or GED diploma required.
2. Must be able to read, speak and write in English.
3. Must have a clean CDL with P and S endorsement or be able to obtain one in 1st 3 months of employment.

Location:

Older Adults Center at Bronx House.

Hours:

Tuesday-Wednesday, 11am-8pm, Thursday, 11am-7:30pm, Friday, 1pm-10pm, Saturday, 7:30am-5pm with occasional weekend/holiday hours based on operational needs.

Staff reports to:

Maintenance Director.

Salary:

$38,563 - $46,624
