Job summary

Ballpark Village in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a Porter to support daily cleanings and maintenance. The role involves floor care, restocking, trash removal, and general housekeeping in a high-traffic entertainment complex adjacent to Busch Stadium.

The ideal candidate will be courteous, dependable, able to work with a team, and available for nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior porter or janitorial experience is a plus; references are required.

Qualifications

• Courteous and pleasant to all guests.
• Ability to work as a team with fellow porters and staff.
• English speaking skills are beneficial, but not required.
• Ability to follow direction from supervisors/managers.
• Experience working in porter/janitorial field is a plus, but not required.
• Previous job references are required.
• Availability to work nights, weekend and/or holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, mop floors.
• Dust furniture and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers.
• Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Wash windows as scheduled.
• Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
• Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

The center for St. Louis regional entertainment hosting more than an estimated 4.5 million visitors annually with 150-plus events per year. Located in the heart of the central business district and adjacent to Busch Stadium, Ballpark Village is surrounded by parking and has unprecedented highway access for the region. The first phase contains more than 100,000 sq.ft. of retail and entertainment including flagship anchors Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum and Cardinals Nation Restaurant, FanDuel Sports Network Live!, and Sports & Social.

Porter Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Sweep, scrub, mop floors
