Brookfield Properties in Woodstock, GA is seeking building cleaning workers to maintain cleanliness of commercial and multi-unit residential properties. Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a clean, orderly environment across offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and other work areas.
• Performs wet- or dry-mop cleaning, floor care, rug shampooing and window/ wall cleaning; removes rubbish; handles minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies; assists with landscaping and snow removal as needed.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors and surfaces; cleans upholstery and draperies; dusts furniture and equipment.
• Replaces light bulbs; transports small equipment between departments; sets up tables and chairs for events.
• Adheres to safety protocols and follows policies; maintains a respectful and professional work environment.

Overview

Job Description

• Building cleaning workers – including porters, janitors, maids, housekeeping cleaners, window washers and rug shampooers – keep premises of commercial or institutional building in clean and orderly condition.
• Cleans offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
• Wet- or dry-mop floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish, pressure washing, gum and graffiti removal
• Make minor repairs, painting and carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, landscaping and snow removal
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Dusts furniture and equipment
• Replaces light bulbs
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments
• Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium, meeting rooms or hall
• This position requires a High School Diploma / GED, or equivalent work experience
• 1 year of required prior experience in working on a commercial or multi-unit residential property
