Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Porter to support quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and office facilities. You will help with vehicle pre-washes, interior and exterior cleaning, and transportation of vehicles to sublet locations to ensure timely repairs.

This role requires attention to detail, reliable work habits, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced collision and glass repair environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• 18 years or age or older.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Job Description:

Compensation Details:

Hourly $15 - $20
