Gerber Collision & Glass in Johnstown, PA is seeking a Porter to support our collision and glass services. You will clean customer vehicles before delivery and keep the shop and offices clean and orderly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to multitask, and a valid driver's license. Prior automotive experience and strong attention to detail are a plus, with a supportive team behind you and benefits starting day one.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of office interior and trash.
• Maintain production area cleanliness and tool placement.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat; shovel sidewalks when needed.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Clean inside and outside of customer vehicles after repairs.
• Transport vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education And/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail
