Job summary

Suburban Ford of Romeo in Romeo, MI is seeking a Porter to greet customers, move vehicles, deliver cars, and keep the showroom and lot clean. You will assist shuttle drivers and support sales activities while maintaining vehicle displays.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver's license, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid drivers license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service orientation is required.
• Able to stand and move for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.

Porter Responsibilities

• Move and work with vehicles to maintain display and support sales activities.

• Thoroughly clean and maintain all vehicles.
• Monitor tire pressure of vehicles; add air and fuel as needed.
• Recognize general vehicle repairs and/or building maintenance and notify management.
• Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot.
• Run miscellaneous errands for the store.

Qualifications

• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
