Job summary

Pistilli Management is seeking a reliable Janitor/Porter to maintain clean, safe, and well-kept residential properties in Queens. This role focuses on common areas, floors, trash removal, and basic maintenance.

Evening to overnight shifts, must have a valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Prior janitorial or building-maintenance experience is preferred; reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently is essential.

• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Previous janitorial or building-maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas and assigned spaces.
• Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors.
• Collect and remove garbage and recycling.
• Lift and carry garbage bags and other materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Perform floor stripping, waxing, and deep cleaning.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas.
• Complete light painting and plastering.
• Perform additional porter and building-maintenance duties as assigned.
