Job summary

FirstService Residential in Miami is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the property’s appearance and cleanliness. The role covers lawn care, debris removal, and safe operation of maintenance equipment, with a schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with handheld tools, and the ability to follow OSHA/EPA guidelines. Fluency in multiple languages and strong customer service skills are valued; comprehensive benefits

• Experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower.
• Multiple language fluency desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Job Overview

As a Groundskeeper, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the building/facility.

Schedule: 10am to 6:30pm Flexible days

Pay: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Your Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Must have experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs following appropriate safety procedures
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
• Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3ft)
• Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain)
• Walk and climb stairs
• Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
• Reach with hands and arms
• Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
• Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
