Responsibilities

  • Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
  • Assist in preparation of market-ready units.
  • Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
  • Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal and other incidents.
  • Clean available apartments and model homes and common areas.
  • Address property maintenance concerns during inclement weather.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining high cleanliness and curb appeal; interact courteously with residents.
  • Preserve applicant and resident confidentiality.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative relationship with residents and properties.
  • Report maintenance and life-safety issues promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About the porter position:

  • Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.

  • Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
  • Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
  • Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
  • Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
