Job Summary
Provides superior maintenance to the interior and exterior of the restaurant in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Functions
- Demonstrates sanitation and food safety practices consistently.
- Checks the restaurant from previous close to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Completes daily, weekly, and monthly jobs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains the appearance of the building exterior and grounds, including landscaping and snow removal.
- Follows company safety standards at all times, prioritizing safety for team members and guests.
- Coordinates job duties with other team members to ensure efficient opening preparations.
- Properly stores food orders, rotates stock using FIFO, and monitors shelf life and code dates.
- Accurately takes temperatures of delivered foods and documents on the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist.
- Maintains knowledge of restaurant equipment operation and performs scheduled maintenance safely and correctly.
- Completes tasks by 10:30 am to prepare for lunch shift.
- Reports any incomplete closing issues to the opening manager.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the manager on duty.
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule

- Sense of urgency and trained food safety knowledge
- Ability to climb ladders up to 25 feet
- Ability to sweep, mop, and scrub using hazardous materials
- Work independently without supervision
- Reach, bend, and clean surfaces regularly
- Work in hot, cold, and damp environments, both indoors and outdoors
- Work safely to prevent hazards such as cuts, slips, trips, falls, and burns
Physical Abilities
- Stand and walk constantly

- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 100 lbs with assistance
