Job Description Summary / TWC Summary: Under general minimum supervision a porter is responsible for managing the building’s cleanliness and orderliness, together with the cleaning & maintenance team. Duties of a porter include ensuring the premises’ safety, operating cleaning tools and equipment, and performing basic troubleshooting. Other tasks include adhering to the highest safety standards and procedures and assisting with maintenance calls. A porter must have excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills to ensure daily smooth operations.

Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent preferred, field experience or military experience may be substituted.

Work Experience: One (1) year experience in landscaping and grounds operation.
Working/Environmental Conditions: Working conditions involves some exposure to moderate risk of accident and require following basic safety precautions. Physical demands include moderate to heavy physical activity that includes prolonged standing and/or walking, handling moderate to heavy weight objects and/or using or carrying equipment. Work may require routine travel.
