Job summary

Complete Care at Whispering Woods is seeking a dedicated Porter to support residents and keep our facility clean and welcoming. As part of a compassionate team, you will move, clean, and maintain resident rooms and common areas in a per diem role.

Responsibilities include terminal cleaning on transfers, restocking supplies, and ensuring a safe, orderly environment. Per diem schedule offers daily pay option and opportunities for advancement within our caregiving family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long term care and EVS preferred but not required.
• Maintain resident rooms including cleaning restroom, walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, dusting, washing windows, and removing trash.
• Moves furniture to dry and wet mop floors.
• Dusts and cleans all furniture and fixtures.
• Terminal Cleaning of resident room upon transfer, discharge, or death.
• Cleans and empties trash in soiled utility rooms.
• Maintains facility appearance by cleaning stairwells, washing windows in main lobby, offices, staff and resident lounges.
• Cleans and polishes elevators as needed.
• Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur.
• Restocks and maintains a clear stockroom and housekeeping cart.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group

Responsibilities

• Perform terminal cleaning of rooms on transfer or discharge.
• Restock and organize housekeeping supplies.
• Maintain stairwells, windows, and lounges tidy and clean.
• Clean elevators as needed and respond to emergency cleaning needs.
• Work independently or as part of a team
