Job summary

Five Iron Golf is seeking a Porter to support our Chicago venues with routine maintenance and upkeep. This role reports to the General Manager and participates in cleaning, restocking, and basic repairs across public and staff areas.

Responsibilities include daily cleanliness, maintaining sanitation of stations, handling trash and laundry, and performing minor fixes as directed. Night and weekend shifts are required; full- and part-time options available.

• Previous guest experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas including but not limited to bathrooms, gym, all common areas.
• Remove trash, litter, and laundry from rooms, offices, common areas, kitchens, restrooms, grounds and receptacles.
• Garbage, Cardboard, Recyclable, Laundry, and towels handling.
• Minor maintenance and repairs; Replace light bulbs, air filters, blinds, shades and other items as directed.
• Repair doors, windows, sink fixtures and inspect areas for unsafe conditions.

We are seeking a Porter. This individual will perform routine maintenance around the location and help out with miscellaneous upkeep and report directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities Include The Following

• Maintain cleanliness of public and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas including but not limited to:
• Bathrooms
• Gym
• All Common areas (Simulators, offices, lobby, etc.)
• Remove trash, litter, and laundry from rooms, offices, common areas, kitchens, restrooms, grounds and receptacles
• Garbage
• Cardboard
• Recyclable
• Laundry
• Member clothing
• Towels
• Minor maintenance and repairs
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, blinds, shades and other items as directed
• Repair doors, windows, sink fixtures and inspect areas for unsafe conditions
