Job summary

CCMC is seeking a dedicated Porter for an active adult community in Broomfield, Colorado. You will be responsible for keeping the community common areas clean and welcoming for homeowners and guests. Responsibilities include assisting maintenance with small projects, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent service.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, janitorial experience, and strong customer service skills.

We offer a salary range of $20-$23 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, 401k matching, and paid parental leave.

About the Community

This active adult (+55) community association has extensive lifestyle and fitness programming, extensive open space, a trail system, and the centerpiece community recreation facility.

Porters perform a wide range of cleaning tasks on property. They keep all community common areas in pristine condition, ready to welcome homeowners and guests.

What you’ll accomplish

• Assisting the maintenance team with small projects
• Changing lightbulbs and other miscellaneous tasks as directed
• Mopping floors, hosing walkways, and sweeping
• Maintaining and emptying garbage bins
• Performing a wide array of janitorial duties
• Extending top‑notch service to residents and guests

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma
• Janitorial experience
• Energy, a great attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi‑task
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current vehicle liability insurance
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements

• Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
• Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
• Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
• Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. We will review an MVR at hire and on a periodic basis thereafter.
