Qualifications

• Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, documentation, safety, reporting, and regulations.
• Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
• Knowledge of equipment used in custodial trades.
• Ability to interpret and complete verbal and/or written instructions.
• Professional customer service skills; time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas including fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds and vents.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum all area floors and laundry rooms.
• Clean restroom facilities and replenish supplies.
• Perform general cleaning, light floor care, and event setups.
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Porter is responsible for keeping buildings clean by picking up trash, sweeping, and mopping, as well as keeping the common areas neat and tidy. The Porter will also complete a number of other functions, such as cleaning windows, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash.

Job Duties

• Clean assigned areas including fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds and vents
• Sweep, mop and vacuum all area floors and laundry rooms
• Clean restroom facilities and replenish supplies
• Perform general cleaning, light floor care, and special event setups
• Collect and remove trash recyclables
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

$20/hr; direct experience highly considered.

Schedule

Days and hours to be confirmed based on the community's operational needs

This is for an on-site position at HOA community Sabine. They start with Somerset on Oct 1.

Requirements
