Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Portal System Administrator to support the development and administration of web-based applications for government agencies. The role includes implementing integrations, securing access, and maintaining SAP-related tools and cloud environments.

The candidate will work across Windows, Unix, and Linux servers, utilize Java and multiple web technologies, and ensure compliance with ITIL-like processes and federal security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers in federal environments.
• Hands-on Control-M administration and monitoring.
• Experience with production systems and change management processes.
• Ability to monitor, log, and performance tune multiple applications.
• Experience supporting enterprise SAP applications and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of web-based applications, including online customer service platforms
• Develop site concepts, interface designs, and web architectures for new and existing applications
• Implement and support integrations with various applications to ensure seamless operation
• Administer and maintain portal systems and related apps (Project Office Portal, CRDB, Control‑M, LDAP, Fortify, BI/EDW, BOBJ, ESS/MSS, MII, and Web Dynpro Apps)
• Manage and support Amazon WorkSpaces and related cloud environments
• Develop and maintain applications using HTML, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Access, HTML, and DBMS technologies (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and Oracle
• Ensure security using Kerberos, protocols, and SAP security role structures
• Support SSO integration, CAMS, and MII within SAP environments
• Provide support for Apache, NetWeaver, and related web server technologies
• Utilize programming languages including HTML, Java, JavaScript, LDAP, PERL, PHP, .Net, Oracle PL/SQL, and APEX
• Maintain and troubleshoot systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective web solutions
• Perform administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of portal systems and databases
• Ensure compliance with IT Level 1 and IAT Level 2 requirements
