Job summary

Waste Pro USA in Orlando is seeking a Route Service Driver to operate a company service truck, servicing portable restrooms and holding tanks across designated sites. Work is performed under supervision with direct observation of routes and problem-solving discussions.

Responsibilities include safe driving, stocking supplies, cleaning units, following Waste Pro guidelines and DOT rules, and providing excellent customer service to clients and municipalities.

Qualifications

Reports To: Route Supervisor, Route Manager or Operations Supervisor

Summary Of Position

Operates a company service truck and driving to various locations to service/pump/clean portable restrooms or holding tanks. Work is performed under supervision and performance is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct observation of routes, and discussion of problems.

Essential Job Functions

• Safely drives service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information in accordance with Decision Driving principles. 2. Delivers and returns portable restrooms, service portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various work sites by following the Company's servicing guidelines. Drains moisture trap, oil catch muffler, and maintains oil level in pump. Empty truck at pump station as needed. 3. Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. in units being serviced. 4. Clean interior and exterior of units, makes repairs of needed, and adds chemical solution to portable restroom units. 5. Provides Distinguishably Different level of service through courteous and expeditious customer service in all aspects of service to customers. Exhibits a positive attitude towards company, customer and municipal goals. 6. Answers questions for customers and directs them to contact Customer Service or Dispatch for additional information 7. Performs Daily Pre and Post Trip inspections as set forth by Waste Pro procedures and D.O.T. guidelines. Completes Safety Lane activity and DVIR daily in accordance with Waste Pro safety lane guidelines. Includes inspection under hood, check under carriage, check fluid levels and air tires. 8. Maintains clean truck and washes exterior weekly. Inspect/Clean Truck: Lift hood, inspect under the hood, walk around and check under carriage; pump gas, check fluid levels and air tires - Uses air gauge, dipstick for levels, and gas pump nozzle for gas fill. 9. Prepares, maintains, and submits required company and regulation-mandated reports and documents; 10. Performs other tasks as required -- such as, but not limited to, assisting other routes for completion, attending community events, or delivery of bins and/or carts. 11. Responsible for all persons working on vehicle during the designated route. 12. Must comply with all Department of Transportation and State requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles. 13. May be required to work during emergency situations.
