Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a U-Box Customer Care Representative (CCR) to manage local deliveries and provide friendly, reliable service to customers.

This role requires a clean driving record, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CDL with DOT certification; you will operate a flatbed truck and a forklift on local routes. You will join a caring company culture and have access to ongoing training through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Department of Transportation certification.
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck (training provided).
• Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery.
• Transport storage containers to and from destinations – local routes only.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

U-Box Customer Care Driver Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck (training provided).

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
