Job summary

Doodie Calls, LLC in Tallahassee, FL is hiring a Portable Restroom Driver to operate the pump truck on predetermined routes, collecting waste from portable sanitation units and depositing contents into the truck. This full-time role requires attention to safety and on-time deliveries.

You will perform pre-operation safety checks, refuel and maintain the vehicle, and keep detailed logs of pickups and mileage while coordinating with dispatchers. CDL or non-CDL license is preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL or Non-CDL License preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck required.
• 3 years of required commercial driving experience, 5 years preferred
• Experience with towing trailers (16-foot or larger) preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be located in the greater Sorrento Area

Responsibilities

• Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck.
• Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on vehicle prior to embarking on route.
• Refuels truck and performs basic maintenance.
• Facilitates proper maintenance and mechanical service on truck by appropriate mechanics.
• Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal.
• Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues and documenting the same.
• Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
