Job summary

HVAC RNTL is seeking a Field Service Support to ensure timely delivery, setup, maintenance, and retrieval of HVAC rental equipment from our Houston area facilities. The role requires a hands-on, customer-focused individual who can work independently or in a team within a fast-paced field environment.

The role reports to the Branch Manager and involves on-site operation, equipment handling, and occasional travel to job sites with company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.
• DOT medical exam may be required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and execute delivery and pickup schedules; adapt as needed.
• Safely operate company vehicles up to 26,000 lbs to transport HVAC rental equipment.
• Install and set up portable cooling equipment at commercial sites.
• Inspect, clean, and perform basic repairs to ensure readiness.
• Maintain inventory and track units using software.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in the shop and job sites.
• Communicate requirements with the Branch Manager and customers.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule for emergencies.
