Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions in Decatur, IL seeks a Portable Arm CMM Operator on first shift. This is a first shift non-exempt role with an hourly pay rate of $20-$25.

The successful candidate will measure customer parts with a portable arm CMM, follow established inspection paths, and report on conformance. Responsibilities include setting up fixtures, verifying inspection programs, operating the portable arm CMM, documenting non-conformances, and supporting continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.

Responsibilities

• Administer previously created inspection path programs.
• Set up fixture or holding device to properly support the part being inspected.
• Ensure part inspection programs are consistent with part number and revision level.
• Verify the inspection equipment is suitable, calibrated, and operational as required.
• Operate portable arm coordinate measuring machine.
• Determine part conformance to customer\'s engineering drawing by measurement inspection.
• Edit part inspection programs under programmer supervision.
• Document and report non-conforming material as required.
• Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
