Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a first shift CMM Operator in Decatur, IL. The role inspects customer parts using a portable arm CMM, setting up fixtures, and verifying conformance to engineering drawings. The position pays $20-25 per hour and is non-exempt.

The operator will run inspection programs, manage calibration, and document non-conforming material, working alongside a site supervisor and site leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixture or holding device to support the part being inspected.
• Operate portable arm CMM and measure parts per inspection programs.
• Verify inspection equipment is calibrated and functional.
• Edit inspection programs under supervision of a programmer.
• Document and report non-conforming material as required.
