Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders or similar machinery in a material handling or industrial environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of cargo handling procedures and equipment operation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and operating equipment safely.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to various job locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
• Collaborate with crane operators and dock personnel to ensure efficient cargo handling.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Follow safety policies and PPE procedures.
• Assist with securing and organizing cargo in trailers and storage areas.
• Maintain records of equipment usage and work activities.
• Communicate status and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Perform general labor tasks as needed.
