Tom Wood Porsche in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Porsche vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring an exceptional ownership experience. The ideal candidate brings strong diagnostic abilities, hands-on expertise with electrical and mechanical systems, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

ASE certifications and Porsche experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Porsche, European luxury, or high-line vehicle experience preferred.
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, drivetrain and performance concerns.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance to Porsche and dealership standards.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and repair procedures to identify and resolve concerns.
• Complete repair orders accurately and document all work performed.
• Follow warranty guidelines and manufacturer repair procedures.
• Communicate with Service Advisors, Parts Personnel, and fellow technicians to ensure timely repairs.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and identify maintenance or repair opportunities.
• Create and submit inspection videos, photos, and documentation to support recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in Porsche training, certification programs, and dealership development opportunities.
• Test drive vehicles as necessary to verify repairs and diagnose issues.
