Job summary

Randstad USA in La Mesa, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant or healthcare professional for a telephonic outreach role within our Complete Care Management team. You will leverage your clinical knowledge to engage patients with chronic conditions, educate on lab work and preventive care, and schedule follow-up visits using Kaiser internal systems.

The position is a 6-month initial contract with potential for extension or internal conversion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of hands-on healthcare experience; MA experience preferred.
• 1+ years outbound/inbound call center experience.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Epic/HealthConnect.
• Background in insurance-only, billing, or claims is not a match; clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to patients with chronic conditions (50–60+ calls/day).
• Educate patients on lab work and preventative care; schedule lab and clinical appointments in Kaiser systems.
• Navigate and update EMR records (Epic/HealthConnect) with HIPAA compliance.
• Process and categorize patient records; operate standard office equipment.
• Meet daily outreach targets and maintain call quality metrics.
