Job Summary

TravelCenters of America provides a convenient, one-stop shopping experience with a variety of dining options. The Cook is a vital team member responsible for preparing and presenting quality food to guests, ensuring travelers leave better than they arrived.

Responsibilities include:

• Working in a fun, customer-focused environment
• Performing prep tasks like washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients
• Setting up grill, fryer, and broiler stations; preparing products per guest specifications and presentation guides
• Completing prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklists
• Practicing safe food handling and storage, waste control, and following safety guidelines
• Maintaining equipment standards
• Prioritizing tasks based on restaurant and guest needs
• Building communication and rapport with team members and leaders
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• A dedicated team player excited to join us
• Previous food service experience preferred
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Range

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on responsibilities, experience, and skills.
