Job summary

Poolwerx Riverside in California is hiring a Pool Technician for residential and commercial pools. You’ll inspect, clean, test water, and maintain pumps, filters, and heaters, using hand and power tools.

You’ll provide excellent customer service while working outdoors, Monday through Friday. This is a full-time role with PTO, a company vehicle and tools, and compensation that includes commissions and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Be 21+ years old for insurance purposes
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• 1–3 years of pool cleaning/maintenance experience preferred
• Pass criminal background and drug tests
• Proficient with smartphones and computers
• Strong communication with clients and team
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather
• Knowledge of mechanical systems/tools/machines
• Knowledge of water chemistry and pool mechanics

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular pool inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Perform routine pool cleaning: skimming, vacuuming, brushing
• Maintain water quality by testing chemistry and applying treatments
• Repair and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting
• Use hand and power tools effectively for maintenance
• Document services and report issues or additional repairs
• Clean debris from skimmer/pump baskets; backwash filters as needed
• Blow off pool area as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate maintenance schedules
• Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
