Job summary

Leslie's is seeking a Pool Technician to clean and maintain residential and commercial pools, ensuring safety rules are followed and the pool area remains clean and orderly.

You will manage a weekly pool route, test water quality, balance chemicals, and maintain pool equipment while providing excellent customer service and professional conduct on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean M.V.R.
• Pool experience preferred but training may be provided.
• Must have physical ability to lift 50+ lb.
• Ability to work outside for long periods in extreme temperatures.
• Be dependable, reliable, responsive, problem solver and detail oriented.
• Pass a drug screen & background check.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly pool maintenance including testing and maintaining water quality, adjusting sanitation levels, cleaning and backwashing filters, brushing and vacuuming, and tile cleaning.
• Remove debris, balance chemicals, and oversee general pool equipment upkeep.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers to serve the customer.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
• Maintain a professional appearance and clean job sites.
• Maintain accurate records and company forms.

Job Overview:

A Pool Technician cleans and maintains residential and commercial pools. Additionally maintain the pool area in a clean, orderly fashion while assuring all pool safety rules and regulations are enforced.

Pay: $18.41 - $21.63 /Hourly

Compensationwithin rangeto be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledgeandskills, as well as internal equity and alignment withmarket data.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a pool route each week with regular pool maintenance which includes, testing and maintaining water quality, adjusting pool sanitation levels, cleaning and backwashing filters, brushing and vacuuming pools, cleaning tiles, and other similar activities.
• Remove debris from pool surface and floor, balance chemicals, and oversee the general upkeep of all pool equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees in order to best serve the customer.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
• Must be professional, helpful, courteous and provide the highest quality of service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and maintain clean jobsites.
• Maintain accurate records & company forms.
