Job summary

Leslie's Poolmart Inc in Katy, TX is seeking a Pool Technician to clean and maintain residential and commercial pools on a weekly route. You will test and balance water quality, backwash filters, brush and vacuum, and ensure all safety rules are followed.

The role offers competitive hourly pay ($18.41–$21.63) plus paid training, a benefits package, 401(k) with match, employee discounts, and opportunities for career advancement; candidates must be able to lift 50+ lbs and pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR.
• Pool experience preferred, but willing to train.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lb.
• Able to work outside for long periods of time, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Be dependable, reliable, responsive, problem solver and detail oriented.
• Pass a drug screen & background check.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pool route each week with regular pool maintenance which includes, testing and maintaining water quality, adjusting pool sanitation levels, cleaning and backwashing filters, brushing and vacuuming pools, cleaning tiles, and other similar activities.
• Remove debris from pool surface and floor, balance chemicals, and oversee the general upkeep of all pool equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees in order to best serve the customer.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
• Must be professional, helpful, courteous and provide the highest quality of service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and maintain clean jobsites.
• Maintain accurate records & company forms.

Job Overview

A Pool Technician cleans and maintains residential and commercial pools. Additionally maintain the pool area in a clean, orderly fashion while assuring all pool safety rules and regulations are enforced.

Pay: $18.41 - $21.63 /Hourly

Compensationwithin rangeto be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledgeandskills, as well as internal equity and alignment withmarket data.
