Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a Pool Technician to maintain and repair pools, spas and related facilities, ensuring water quality, equipment function, and safety for guests and team members. This is a hands-on role that supports Starwood's commitment to guest safety and the 1 Hotel brand experience.

Requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with pool equipment, familiarity with hand and power tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24-hour operation. A post-secondary diploma is a plus.

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently and 25 pounds constantly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
Experience in engineering, a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented.
Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
