Job summary

Leslie's is hiring a Pool Technician to clean and maintain residential and commercial pools and spas. The role involves weekly pool route management, water quality testing, chemical balancing, and equipment upkeep, while ensuring safety rules are followed.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license with clean MVR. Pool experience is preferred but training is available. The position is hourly and based in Frisco, TX.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR.
• Pool experience preferred, but willing to train.
• Must have physical ability to lift 50+ lb.
• Ability to work outside for long periods in extreme temperatures.
• Be dependable, reliable, responsive, problem solver and detail oriented.
• Pass a drug screen & background check.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pool route each week with regular pool maintenance including testing and maintaining water quality, adjusting sanitation levels, cleaning and backwashing filters, brushing and vacuuming pools, cleaning tiles, and similar tasks.
• Remove debris from pool surface and floor, balance chemicals, and oversee general upkeep of pool equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees to best serve the customer.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
• Maintain a professional appearance and clean job sites.
• Maintain accurate records and company forms.

Job Overview

The Pool Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining residential and commercial pools and spas. Additionally, they will maintain the pool area in a clean, orderly fashion while assuring all pool safety rules and regulations are enforced.

Pay: $18.41 - $21.63 / Hourly

Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

• Must be professional, helpful, courteous and provide the highest quality of service.
