Job summary

Coastal Pools in Queenstown, MD is seeking a Pool Service Technician I to join the Service department. You'll work outdoors, learn a skilled trade, and provide maintenance and servicing for residential pools.

No prior pool experience required; we provide hands-on training. Ideal candidates are dependable, eager to learn, and able to lift 50+ pounds and work in all seasons.

This full-time role offers paid training, health benefits, PTO after 90 days, and growth opportunities within Coastal Pools.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude.

• Valid Maryland driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool cleaning, vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and filter maintenance.
• Test and balance pool water using proper chemical procedures.
• Learn to inspect pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and other pool equipment.
• Assist with seasonal pool openings, closings, and winterization.
• Safely handle, transport, and store pool chemicals.
• Complete service reports, water chemistry readings, and customer notes using our CRM system.
• Communicate concerns or equipment issues to the Service Manager.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at every home.
