Job summary

Poolwerx is hiring a Pool Service Technician to service residential and commercial pools on a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends. No prior pool experience is required as paid training and all tools are provided.

You will work in diverse outdoor locations, balancing water chemistry, applying chemicals, and performing routine maintenance while delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll gain hands-on technical skills, work independently yet be supported by a collaborative team, and have

• No pool service experience required—we'll train you!
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old for company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to safely handle pool chemicals and equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Service an established route of residential and commercial swimming pools.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry to maintain safe, healthy water.
• Add and adjust pool chemicals including chlorine, sanitizer, pH adjusters, and algaecides.
• Brush pool walls, steps, and tile surfaces.
• Vacuum pools and remove debris.
• Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets.
• Clean or backwash pool filters as needed.
• Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, automation systems, and other pool equipment for proper operation.
• Identify equipment issues and communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate completed work.
• Keep company vehicles organized and stocked with supplies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every visit.

What You'll Do
