Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is hiring a pool housekeeper to provide clean, sanitary, and orderly surroundings for residents, staff, and guests. Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, you will perform cleaning duties according to established policies to maintain high levels of cleanliness in resident rooms, common areas, and recreational spaces.

The role requires operation of cleaning equipment, attention to safety regulations, and flexibility with hours including weekends or shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, dust mops, sweeper extractors, scrubbers.
• Clean carpets, tile, wood flooring.
• Maintain facility in a sanitary condition washing, cleaning, replenishing and replacing supplies.
• Work in residential and common areas including restrooms and recreational spaces.
• Dispose of trash and follow safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
• Follow MSDS and labels; handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Maintain daily and project schedules; notify manager of changes.
• Perform window cleaning; ensure adequate supplies.
