Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is looking for a Lead Housekeeper to coordinate housekeeping activities for the Healthcare Center and provide leadership to the team on shift. You will ensure compliance with department policies and support the manager with performance inputs.

In this role you will oversee scheduling, assist with resident room services, and promote safety and infection control practices while delivering high-quality service to residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 3 years leadership experience preferred; 1-2 years in leadership position preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and leads personnel and self activities.
• Assigns self to complete regular schedules or project assignments.
• Assist or perform minor service for residents' rooms.
• Maintains effective communications with associates and residents/visitors.
• Ensures safety and infection control guidelines are followed.
• Provides input on associate performance appraisals and training.
