Job summary

Mariani Enterprises LLC is seeking a Renovation Department Manager to lead all renovation projects across our Connecticut and New York portfolio. You will manage client interfaces, coordinate vendors, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery of $2.5–$3 million yearly in renovations.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in pool construction, 3+ years in project management and sales, and strong MS Office/Aspire reporting skills. Hybrid office role with significant field engagement and travel expectations.

Qualifications

  • Ten years of experience in the pool industry.
  • Three years of project management experience.
  • Three years direct project sales experience; pool industry preferred.
  • Five years working full time in customer service.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Aspire reports.
  • Ability to read accounting spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Renovation Department projects totaling approximately $2.5–3 million annually.
  • Provide client interface throughout each project with timely communications.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate materials, vendors, and subcontractors for timely delivery.
  • Enter invoices and monitor project costs to keep profitability.
  • Facilitate change orders and support sales in growth initiatives.

Provide client interface throughout project and maintain timely communications. Responsible for project timeline and budget management on multiple simultaneous projects.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProject OperationsResponsible for the successful execution of all assigned projectsEnsure projects are completed on time and on budgetEnsure all materials are delivered and recorded, including material ordering through various vendorsCoordinate delivery timing for project needsEnter invoices to ensure timely vendor paymentsEnsure client satisfaction in alignment with company vision and beliefs, serving as the primary client interface throughout the project with timely communication and updatesFacilitate weekly updates to keep clients and team informedEnsure all projects operate within contracted schedules, establishing a project timeline at the onset of work and providing timely updates on any delaysCoordinate subcontractor workEnsure all projects are completed profitably through regular monitoring of project costsProvide timely feedback to field managers regarding cost concernsProvide timely feedback to the project sales representative and advise on change order needsRevenue GenerationMeet with clients to promote and sell project change ordersPrepare and deliver basic project change order contractsProvide clients with information regarding other Glengate servicesSupport interdepartmental sales staff when possibleDepartment OperationsParticipate in SOP development and annual reviewsProvide timely feedback to supervisor regarding concerns or corrections neededSupport safe and efficient adherence to company standardsParticipate in evaluations of new products and equipmentAssist with implementation of new SOPs and support the deployment processEmployee DevelopmentContinue education and training through industry seminars and conferencesParticipate, as needed, in developmental training of new Renovation staffBusiness DevelopmentSupport the Department Manager with all business development initiativesParticipate in industry seminars and association meetingsParticipate in growth planning strategies, providing input into growth planning opportunities and initiativesAdditional Responsibilities May IncludeConduct pool inspectionsConduct new pool client instructionsConduct new client PCAA salesQUALIFICATIONSEducationMinimum High School diploma; College Degree preferredExperienceIndustry Experience: Ten years of experience in the pool industry preferred, including technical or managementProject Management: Three years of experience effectively managing complex or multiple projectsSales: Three years direct project sales experience; pool industry experience preferredCustomer Service: Five years working full time in customer service, with demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and employeesProfessional Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, internet searches, and AspireAbility to read, understand, and develop Aspire and Excel reports and spreadsheetsAbility to read and understand accounting spreadsheetsAbility to manage expenses related to labor, tools, and materialsPersonal Skills and AptitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate and interact effectively with clients, vendors, employees, and management in a team environmentAbility to resolve conflicts appropriatelyAbility to organize, prioritize, and allocate workload efficientlyAbility to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and qualityPhysical EffortWork is performed in a hybrid office environment, with a routine field environmentRequires sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time, at times in harsh weather; candidate should be in good physical healthFrequent driving to client properties, sometimes 100-200 miles per dayOccasional lifting of 30-50 pound containersOperating a variety of office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, printers, and desk or file cabinet drawersThe Perks401(k) plan with company matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFSA/HSAPerkSpotLong-Term Disability and Life InsurancePaid Time OffTuition Reimbursement (after one year of service)Pay TransparencyMariani Enterprises LLC is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees with an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
