Job Title: Pool Pharmacy Technician 2 - Inpatient (250001N7)

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and in accordance with established policies and procedures, assist with various pharmacy activities including preparation and dispensing of medications, medication distribution, non-sterile and sterile compounding, inventory management (including automated medication cabinets), handling controlled substances, and maintaining assigned areas. Assess the age-specific needs of patients. Perform duties aligned with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital, as well as state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
• Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience or two years of total pharmacy experience.
• If not currently holding a Florida Board of Pharmacy permit, a valid Pharmacy Intern permit issued by the State of Florida may be substituted.
