JOB PURPOSE:

Maintains swimming pool water quality by testing weekly and cleaning pool components. Maintains water purification systems, and oversees the activities of lifeguarding staff.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains swimming pool water quality by testing hourly and cleaning pool components weekly.
• Adds chemicals as needed.
• Vacuums pools using pool vacuum daily.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to use water tester, pool vacuum.
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
• For managers, ability to make a schedule for lifeguards in a timely manner and upload the schedule onto Buddy Punch.
• Communicate with supervisory staff about supply and maintenance needs.
