Reports To: Community Manager

Position Overview

As a community with families and children, your responsibility will be to ensure that the pool area is safe and secure, and that residents follow established rules and regulations. You will oversee the opening and closing of the pool and surrounding areas, including the bathrooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. In case of emergencies, you may be called upon to assist.

Essential Functions
  • Enforce all pool rules, including maximum occupancy
  • Open and close the pool area at designated times
  • Clean the pool as directed by the Community Manager
  • Arrange pool furniture neatly
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the pool bathrooms
  • Identify safety concerns, deficiencies, or supply needs and notify the Community Manager
  • Check the pool phone weekly to ensure proper functioning
  • Verify entry permissions with pool passes or log visitors as required
  • Ensure children under 14 are always accompanied by an adult resident (18+)
  • Secure the pool at designated closing time
  • Respond to emergency calls as directed by management
  • Communicate effectively with residents and management
  • Immediately notify management of any incidents or accidents
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for up to 8 hours daily
  • Regularly push, pull, lift, or carry up to 25 lbs.
Education and Experience
  • Valid in-state driver’s license required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
