Job summary

Baptist Health in Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to perform procedures and bone densitometry, ensuring high-quality radiographs and patient care. The role emphasizes radiation safety and continuous quality improvement within a faith-based hospital system.

Qualified candidates should have ARRT Radiography certification and ARRT Mammography eligibility, with intent to obtain Mammography license if required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved AMA Council of Education program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registration: ARRT in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT eligible for Mammography.
• Employees hired before May 2021, have 12 months from job entry date to obtain RTM ARRT Registered Technologist – Mammography license.

Responsibilities

• Provides a variety of mammographic procedures following established protocols.
• Performs bone densitometry studies.
• Safely ensures quality radiographs, follows radiation protection standards and participates in the department continuous quality improvement process.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.

Description:

Provides a variety of mammographic procedures on women and men following established protocols. Performs bone densitometry studies. Safely ensures quality radiographs, follows radiation protection standards and participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients. Estimated pay range for this position is $41.00 / hour depending on shift as applicable.

Qualifications:

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.

Additional Qualifications:
