Job summary

Smart Pool Services LLC is seeking a Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee in Gilbert, AZ. You will support the Pool Maintenance Specialist by cleaning, skimming, vacuuming, and applying chemical treatments to client pools and related facilities.

The role trains you to test water, balance chemicals, inspect equipment, and keep daily logs of water quality and supplies. This entry-level position requires physical stamina and a willingness to learn on the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning, checking, and monitoring pools and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pool Maintenance Specialist to skim, vacuum, and chemically treat pools and facilities.
• Periodically empty pools for deep cleaning, including brushing and scrubbing walls, floors and surfaces.
• Test pool water for pH, chlorine, bacteria, algae or contaminants, and other data.
• Receive training to ensure correct color, chemistry, and clarity of pool water.
• Calculate and add chemical treatments to balance pH and remove contaminants.
• Inspect pool and equipment.
• Complete daily logs outlining chemical usage, water quality, repairs and supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
